Charting a course Walking the river together.

The kindest, most powerful thing
you can do is to become the person you
want to spend the rest of your life with.
My Approach
This is compassionate therapy that actively supports your change process.
It invites the workings of your mind & body, relationships & personality, your patterns and the systems affecting you to be seen so you gain more clarity and understanding. This is a therapy process that supports access to your deepest truths, your sense of what is necessary and of what is possible, for more resolution, participation, and choice in your life.
We will hold space for your emotions and thoughts, your history, your sense of what is missing and what is wanted....and to guide you using clear and effective therapy process attuned to you.

It is my goal to support felt experiences of this difference in sessions, of personally meaningful new experiences, that you can carry forward.
To address what is concerning you, today we rely on what is currently known about trauma, stress, resource access and the developmental maturation needs of modern people psychologically, relationally, systemically, physically and spiritually, and existentially to unearth the root causes of distress and misalignment in your life.

This is all in service of resetting your ability to respond, participate and create.

Supporting you to a more peaceful and committed relationship with your experiences, including your experience of YOU, your relations, your world and your sense of purpose and meaning.

My name is Kristina
and I will walk with the river with you as you chart a new course.
I am interested in fostering your ability to relate more fully to your experiences, self, others and the world with care and with interest. I want to support your resolution of the past and your sense of purpose and meaning, one that you feel into and know your way back to, so it can carry you forward.

It is my goal to offer you re-orienting experiences in sessions that will foster your fuller ability to reflect, know and experience connections and relief from old patterns. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment patterns.

My process is a convergence of Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatics, radical acceptance and embodied meditation, transpersonal and motivational therapies, trauma informed CBT, relational pattern healing and body focused interventions like mindfulness, breathwork and vagus nerve regulation.
Together these address the thinking, physical body and nervous system, relational and emotional patterns, and the influence of systems that inform identity and functioning for better well being.

My trauma and mental health crisis work of the past 30 years informs my approach. I worked in mental health crisis, trauma and casework services for over a decade before returning to school for my Masters degree at Scranton University’s Counseling Program. I graduated in 2013 with qualifications to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a K-12 School Counselor. I am also a licensed massage therapist.
